Randfestspiele 2019
The 2019 Zepernicker Randfestspiele (also known as Randspiele) was the 27th edition of a German festival for contemporary music held annually in the town of Zepernick, near Berlin. The festival's central theme for 2019 was "Wasser" (Water).
This piece was commissioned by the festival (Helmut Zapf) and was composed for the Yarava Modern Orchestra’s Instrumentalists. The composition is based on a poem by Abu Sa'id Abu'l-Khayr.

Jalali has learned Iranian traditional music since 1996 under the supervision of Hamid-Reza Mohseni, Mohammad Zolnouri, Jalal Zolfonoun, Masoud Shaari, and Taher Yarveysi and has participated in several Hossein Alizadeh masterclasses
